Meet the Founder
Every practice has a story. This one begins with a deep belief that healing isn't something that's done to you — it's something you already carry, waiting for the right conditions to grow.

Brianne Gutierrez, LPC
Hi — I'm Brianne, and I'm so glad you're here. I founded Restorative Roots Mental Health and Counseling because I believe that the path to healing doesn't come from being “fixed.” It comes from finding safety — real, felt-in-your-body safety — so that the strength and wholeness already inside you can come forward.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed, identity-affirming, and relational approaches. I draw on EMDR, somatic awareness, Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles, and attachment theory — but none of that matters if the space between us doesn't feel safe. So that's always where we start.
I have a special passion for working with anxiety, trauma and PTSD, life transitions, identity, and relationship challenges. I also hold a deep commitment to serving the LGBTQIA+ community and BIPOC clients, offering a space where all of who you are is not just accepted but celebrated.
I offer in-person sessions in El Paso, Texas and telehealth appointments across the states where I'm licensed. Whether you're just beginning to consider therapy or returning after time away, I'd love to connect.
What I bring to every session
Relational at heart
Before any technique or modality, the relationship matters most. I bring genuine warmth, curiosity, and presence to every session.
Trauma-informed
Everything I do is grounded in an understanding of how trauma shapes the nervous system, identity, and the way we move through the world.
Culturally responsive
I see you in the fullness of who you are — your culture, identity, community, and lived experience are always honored in our work together.
Affirming & inclusive
My practice is a safe, celebratory space for the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC clients, neurodivergent folks, and all who have felt unseen elsewhere.
LPC Supervision & Professional Consultation
I am currently accepting LPC-Associates for supervision in Texas. I know how important it is to have a supervisor who truly sees you — not just your cases. My supervision style mirrors my therapy approach: relational, trauma-informed, and rooted in your growth.
I also offer professional consultation for licensed clinicians who want a confidential space to explore challenging cases, ethical questions, and the weight of this deeply human work.
- LPC-Associate Supervision — $50/hour (4-hour minimum per month)
- Professional Consultation — $75/hour
- Currently accepting supervisees
Ready to take that first step?
You don't need a crisis to reach out. Curiosity is enough. I'd love to hear from you.
