Relational at heart
Before any technique or modality, the relationship matters most.
Every practice has a story. This one begins with a deep belief that healing is something you already carry, waiting for the right conditions to grow.
Hi, I'm Brianne — and I'm really glad you found your way here.
I started Restorative Roots because I believe healing isn't about being fixed. It's about finding enough safety that your own strength can come forward.
I've spent 20 years in the mental health field, 14 of them sitting with people in their hardest moments. What I've learned is this: people are remarkable. Resilient in ways they often can't yet see.
I work with the whole person — mind and body together — using approaches that are trauma-informed, identity-affirming, and rooted in relationship. My training includes EMDR, somatic therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, Narrative, and attachment-based work.
I have a special place in my heart for anxiety and OCD, trauma, life transitions, identity, and relationship challenges. I am also deeply committed to serving LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.
This work is something I give my whole self to. Being trusted with someone's healing is a privilege I never take for granted.
